We Are The Wild Youth was made during a "Design Something New Everyday" challenge I was taking part in earlier this year. Using the song "Youth" by the band Daughter as inspiration, I had to gather the imagery that went with the song in the span of a day.
 

Loss, recklessness, fire, smoke, and youth are some of the concepts mentioned in the song. I used a camera and captured the fire, smoke, and various gritty textures to bring this piece to life. Then, through experimenting with textures, I composed the different elements in a way that I thought represented what the song meant to me.
